The Snom D7 expansion module an excellent addition for staff who handle high call volumes and enables increases in productivity. The D7 expansion module enhances the 700 series by adding 18 programmable buttons with LEDs to deliver features such as speed dial, night operation, call parking, busy lamp field and presence indication.
The high-resolution screen provides an ideal visual interface. The D7 connects to the telephone via a USB cable which also allows the connection of up to 3 expansion modules on a single IP handset, providing a total of 54 operation function keys to the user. The final D7 in the chain provides a USB port to connect other peripheral devices such as a USB headset. Please note that when more than one Snom D7 is used with a phone additional external power is required to keep the juices flowing.
